Day 1: Arrive to Kilimanjaro airport

Upon your arrival, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will greet you and provide a brief overview of your lodge and safari program. They will then escort you to your hotel in Arusha where you can relax and enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara

Once you’re ready, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. There, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive through the park’s open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides.

With over 350 species of birds, Lake Manyara National Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise. And keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, which are both unique and elusive. After a day of exploring everything, the park has to offer, you’ll be taken back to the lodge for a delicious dinner. overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Our day will start with breakfast, after which we will head towards Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch and game drive en route. Later in the evening, we will check-in at the luxury camp for dinner and overnight stay. Witness the spectacle of a million wildebeest, each one following the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling their instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life.

They engage in a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating, where only the fittest survive. These 40km (25 miles) long columns brave crocodile-infested waters on their annual exodus north, replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces over 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

We have planned a full day game drive for you after breakfast, where we will track the Great Migration trails through the wilderness. By evening, we will return to the camp for a campfire, dinner and overnight stay. During this time, you will receive a detailed explanation about this great world event that Tanzania is proud of.

As the sun goes down, you will witness the beauty of Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park – the Serengeti, which is also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wonder. The Serengeti is known for its annual migration where six million hooves pound the open plains, and more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, you will have the opportunity to experience a hot air balloon safari. After returning to the camp, you can have your breakfast and then head out for a morning game drive at Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will drive to Ngorongoro and check you into your accommodation. As Laurens van der Post once said in his book, “Venture to the Interior” (1963), “The only living things which look as if they really belong to it are the Wild Animals.

Between the animals and Africa, there is an understanding that the human beings have not yet earned…” Today, these precious creatures are protected by the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which span across the border in Kenya. These areas safeguard the greatest and most diverse collection of terrestrial wildlife on earth, and are home to one of the last great migratory systems still intact.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

We have planned a morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, followed by a picnic lunch. Later in the evening, we will head to the Camp for dinner and overnight stay. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird species. The crater’s 2000 ft. high walls make it difficult for animals to migrate in and out, so you can observe a wide variety of animals during the game drive.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a vast highland area that spans the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the Ngorongoro Crater as its main attraction. The NCA was established to conserve wildlife and natural resources, as well as to protect the interests of indigenous people and promote tourism. This means that during the safari, you will have the unique opportunity to witness Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle alongside the wildlife in the area.

Day 7: Back to Arusha

After breakfast, we will leave and begin our journey back to Arusha. We’ll stop for lunch at the lodge and later in the evening, we’ll provide transportation for you to the airport for your flight back home.
