Tarangire National Park
Safari Overview
Tarangire is stunning destination for a day tour, herds of elephants that scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, migratory wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, impala, gazelle and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons.
The grassland and floodplain make it the home of predators. Tarangire is also a birding site with 400 species of birds that have been recorded.
Trip Outline
A trip to Arusha is not complete without a visit to Tarangire National Park, one of the largest in the region. Spend a day exploring this destination, home to a wide variety of wildlife—especially during the dry season, when the park is a favorite spot for thousands of migrating animals.
Itineraries
Early pick up at the hotel in Arusha at 7:00 am by our profession driver-guide with packed picnic lunch, it will take 2 hours to get to Tarangire national park. Tarangires huge herds of elephants are ever present to fascinate visitors with their grace and majesty. You will have picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites and there after you will have time still to marvel and peel your preconception thought and get to reality. In the early evening we set off to Arusha back to your hotel.
